Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is John Hill, and I am the broker/Senior Auctioneer for J.W. Hill and Associates. I am a graduate of Branford High School, which makes me a native of Suwannee County, and a Florida State University graduate with a degree in Industrial Engineering. I joined the US Army in 1974 and attended the Infantry Officer Basic Course and Advance Course, U.S. Army Instructors School, Airborne School, Flight School, and Ranger School. I am also a graduate of Ford Marketing Institute, Florida Real Estate Institute, Florida Auctioneer Academy, Advanced Real Estate Investment Analysis, and Dale Carnegie.
It is obvious that I have spent a great deal of my time in school. Some would even say that I am educated beyond my abilities. However, I think I bring a unique background to the real estate industry.
I am often asked what makes J.W. Hill and Associates different from other real estate firms. First is our work ethic. My staff and I really do enjoy the real estate business and it shows. No one watches the clock at our office; we just work until the task is complete, and that works to your advantage. Second is the education of our staff. We have two MBA’s, four bilingual employees, a building contractor, and a engineer. Our agents are constantly upgrading their education. In other words, our staff excels.
We are members of the Florida Commercial Brokers Network, the premier group of commercial real estate brokers in the state of Florida. (Visit our website at www.flabrokers.com). In 2005, the Florida Commercial Brokers Network had over $100,000,000 in inter-group sales.
We are also an auction company. We can auction your personal property and your real estate property. Many real estate properties lend themselves to auctions, however not all do. We are in a unique position, because we can do either private treaty sales or auctions. That places us in the position of knowing which is best for each unique property, thus giving our customers one more powerful marketing tool. I trained under Mr. J.L. Todd of Todd Auction Company, Rome, Georgia, who is a member of the Auctioneer Hall of Fame.
Our marketing program is second to none and our integrity is unquestioned. We do not take a listing until our agents have done a thorough price analysis, either by comparative market analysis or a broker price opinion, and will give you the documented results in writing. Then, the agents prepare a comprehensive marketing plan, all of which is reviewed by the broker. When the seller and agent agree on an offering price, we place the property on the market. This assures the seller and buyers that the property is priced right the first time and all parties are getting a good deal.
